The troop went to the sap camp at Beaumont Reservation; they began their by day hiking through the maple tree grove to see how sap is processed. Other activities included rifles, a two-man saw, sap tapping, maple syrup tasting, and meeting Sappy, the Scout’s Own Syrup mascot. They also had a chance to enjoy pancakes with maple syrup made from tapping trees at the Beaumont Reservation.
